Apparently there are quite few factors that can influence the price of pot per pound including street/wholesale and the quality of the product but generally speaking:
crappy pot: $500-1000 per lb *really* good pot: $3000-5000 Estimating that she gets two nights off a week to be available for a date (which might be generous considering she seems to be the only manager), I'd guess that the timeline is a minimum of two weeks. Here's my "math:" 2 bad dates (colon guy and Columbia guy) would take up one week, then the three "good" dates with Lewis would take another week at least with one taking place at her restaurant so she may have been working that night. Of course, it could easily take longer too!
According to Lauren Adhav, writing for Cosmo, the most popular style of cute adult women's shoe in 2003 would have been a pointy-toed, brightly colored pump (matching shoes to bags was big that year apparently). In general, heels were very pointy during this time.
For a tween, I'd think more in terms of the uber popular Steve Madden "Gipper" Shoe Platform flip flops were also a thing. Just for an additional reminder, here's an article about 2003 fashion (eeeeeh): https://www.telegraph.co.uk/films/finding-dory/23-fashion-trends-you-definitely-wore-in-2003/ Haley became a single mom with Vera when she was five, and Vera is about 12 now. By that estimate, they moved to New York roughly 7 years before the action of the play so I'd put that move right around 1996 (ish).
It's very likely as she'd done two other Rebeck plays prior and a 2003 Playbill article by Ernio Hernandez says the play was "penned for her" (though they don't give a source) and a local Minneapolis paper making the same claim (but I get they got it from Playbill ;))

We know she's been a restaurant manager for at least 5 years, so maybe she moved in then? If she was lucky enough to find a rent controlled place when she first moved from Austin to New York, she could have been there about 7 years, tops. We also know that she got divorced and was waitressing by the time Vera was 5 and she's roughly 12 now, so Haley has been a working single mom for around 7 years. So she can't have lived in NYC more than about 7 years. Obviously it ranges depending on how fancy the shoes are, but it looks like standard pumps from Jimmy Choo would have cost roughly $575 in 2003. Some of the shoes are also supposed to be from her time in Austin when she could get crazy-good deals from "George," which also explains why several pairs don't fit; some women gain half a shoe size or more during pregnancy.
The average income for a New York City Restaurant manager is currently somewhere between $50,000 and $75,000. Adjusted for inflation, Haley probably makes something like $47,000 (about $64,000 today)--worth remembering that that cost of living is 120% higher in NYC than HHIThe average income for a New York City Restaurant manager is currently somewhere between $50,000 and $75,000.
